Château de Mâlain is an 11th-century ducal stronghold located on a rocky ridge in Burgundy's Côte-d'Or region, redesigned significantly in the 16th century. The castle holds unique historical importance as a witness to medieval Burgundian feudal dynamics, having been occupied by influential families including the Sombernons, Montagues, and Mâlains who played roles at the royal court. A remarkable architectural feature is the literal division of the castle into two separate parts, resulting from a 1419 inheritance dispute between two nieces of Pierre de Montagu. For over forty years, the Groupe Archéologique Mesmontois has gradually restored the castle through extensive renovation and archaeological excavations, bringing this important regional monument back to life for visitors.

Château de Musigny, also known as Château du Comte de Roussillon, is a classical castle nestled in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of Côte-d'Or. Situated at the eastern end of Musigny village, the castle features a distinctive monumental staircase on its rear façade and is surrounded by a large park bordered by woodlands. Notable architectural elements include an ornate pavilion with a square tower adorned with ceramic and brick geometric patterns, and a wrought-iron entrance gate flanked by semi-circular structures. Built in the classical style around 1753 by Jean-Auguste de Changey following its initial mention in records from 1461, the château continues to benefit from restoration efforts supported by the Fondation du patrimoine.

Château du Clos de Vougeot is a historic castle in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits wine region, representing the birthplace of Burgundy wine-growing tradition dating back to the 12th century. Built by Cistercian monks from Cîteaux Abbey, the château sits within a three-kilometre-long walled enclosure containing ancient vineyard plots, and features medieval vat-houses, original presses, and a 12th-century cellar with four immense oak presses that can hold up to 2,000 bottles. A Renaissance main building added in the 16th century showcases Renaissance drawing rooms and architectural elements spanning nearly a thousand years of Burgundian history. Though no longer producing wine, since 1934 it has housed the Fraternity of Knights of the Wine-Tasters' Cup and remains open to visitors with guided tours available in multiple languages.

Jardins de Barbirey encompasses 8 hectares of gardens at the confluence of the Ouche and Gironde valleys in Côte-d'Or, designated as a Remarkable Garden since 2004 and registered as a Historic Monument in 2005. The estate features an English-style garden, botanical garden, and superb 18th-century terraced vegetable garden overlooking a 19th-century landscape park. Originally acquired by banker Jean Paris de Monmartel, the château was built by his son, the Marquis de Brunoy, with significant 19th-century restorations and recreations over three decades. Today, artistic interventions and the annual festival Entre cour et jardins establish it as a vibrant cultural meeting place in Burgundy.

Château de Brochon is a neo-Renaissance castle built between 1895 and 1902 by writer Stéphen Liégeard, representing the last major château constructed in Côte-d'Or. The building's construction followed the devastating phylloxera crisis and served dual purposes: creating an architectural masterpiece while providing employment to ruined vineyard operators. The structure exemplifies Renaissance style with exceptional interior decoration, both its facades and interiors registered as historical monuments since 1975. Currently housing a lycée, the château remains closed to the public during the school year but opens mid-July through August, allowing visitors to appreciate its architectural significance and craftsmanship.
