Cuéllar Castle, also known as the Castle-Palace of the Dukes of Albuquerque, stands in Segovia province, Castile and León. Built from the 12th century onward, the castle evolved across multiple architectural periods until the 18th century. In 1464, King Enrique IV granted the castle to Beltrán de la Cueva, Duke of Alburquerque, who transformed the military fortress into a Renaissance palace. The rectangular structure features four corner turrets, with three cylindrical towers complemented by Renaissance elements including a gallery on the southern façade. Designated a Property of Cultural Interest in 1931, the castle currently houses a secondary school while theatrical performances continue its cultural tradition.
