Château du Giersberg is a 13th-century fortress in Ribeauvillé, Alsace, originally named Stein but renamed after its vassals, the knights of Girsberg, who held it from 1304 until dying out in the 15th century. Standing at 528 meters altitude, it overlooks the Alsatian plain and shares the commune with two other major castles. Architectural remains spanning the 13th to 15th centuries include a pentagonal keep, inner court, and residential building. Listed as a historic monument since 1841, its ruins remain freely accessible to visitors undertaking the strenuous hiking paths of the Ribeauvillé castle circuit.
