This fortified estate was substantially shaped by the Friis family's ownership from the Reformation through 1689, then by the Lange family from 1781 onward. The property encompasses 639 hectares including several farmsteads and represents one of Funen's finest Renaissance castles with well-preserved interiors showcasing traditional Danish architectural styles.
