Ebenfurth Castle is a distinctive water castle featuring four wings arranged around a central courtyard in the town of Ebenfurth, Lower Austria. First documented in 1160, this late-medieval fortress served various noble families and functioned as a strategic military base for Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus. The castle underwent crucial structural reinforcements against the Ottoman invasions of 1683, and renovations in 2020 unexpectedly revealed 28 Jewish gravestones dating from the 17th century, now preserved as historical artifacts. Currently owned by Serbian folk singer Dragana Mirković since 2010, the castle remains privately held with exteriors visible from surrounding paths but interior access restricted.
