Castelo Belvedere in Treze de Maio, Santa Catarina, is a medieval-inspired castle conceived by Father Nivaldo Antônio Ceron and his family as the realization of a long-held dream. Construction began in June 1999 and took over 11 years to complete, utilizing approximately 25,000 meters of granite stone and 47,000 bricks to create a 1,200-square-meter residence featuring numerous rooms, balconies, a tower, and a chapel. The name 'belvedere' reflects the Italian meaning of 'beautiful view,' referring to the castle's elevated positioning. Since 2020, it has been open to the public, attracting visitors who explore its rooms, architecture, and panoramic vistas across southern Brazil's landscape.
