Castelo Furlani is a distinctive castle in Pederneiras, São Paulo, built between 1911 and 1914 by engineer Fausto Furlani, an Austrian-born immigrant. The castle features Renaissance-style architecture blended with Asian elements, rising approximately four stories high with materials imported from Europe including German cement and French roof tiles. Surrounded by natural grounds featuring streams, sycamore trees, and animal statues, this private historic residence remains a notable architectural landmark in the interior of São Paulo state. The castle has been preserved within the Furlani family as a heritage property and represents an early 20th-century example of eclectic European-influenced design in Brazil.
