Bearsden Roman Fort, located near Glasgow, is a small fortification built in AD 138 as part of the Antonine Wall's secondary outpost system. This cavalry base, possibly occupied for around twenty years, represents an important milestone in Scotland's Roman military history. Today, the surviving bath house and latrine, discovered in the 1970s, remain on public display as significant components of the Antonine Wall World Heritage Site, offering visitors insight into Roman garrison life and bathing customs along the northern frontier.
