Castillo de Alfonso Téllez de Meneses is a medieval fortress located in Villalba de los Alcores, Valladolid province, with construction attributed to Alonso Téllez de Meneses beginning in 1195. The fortification complex consists of three quadrilateral enclosures protected with square-based towers, designed to serve as both a noble residence and defensive stronghold for the surrounding population. The castle experienced multiple significant historical events, including siege by troops of Enrique I in 1217, capture by Pedro I in 1354, and seizure by the Count of Benavente's forces in 1469. During the 1520 Comunero Revolution, the castle housed a garrison loyal to Emperor Charles V, reflecting its continued strategic importance. The defensive walls achieved their definitive appearance during the second half of the 15th century, and today the site remains as ruins classified within Spain's cultural heritage patrimony.
