Castillo de Alcuetas is a 16th-century castle-palace located in Villabraz, León province, in the southeast of Castile and León. Built during the height of the village's glory under Emperor Charles V, the structure comprises a central rectangle with towers at alternating angles, originally belonging to María Cabeza de Vaca, wife of Álvaro Enríquez de Acuña, and later passing to the Marquis of Villasinda. The castle suffered a major structural collapse in March 2018 affecting approximately half of its remaining fabric. Restoration efforts are nearing completion to reintegrate damaged sections and architectural elements including the access door.
