Torre Roja de Viladecans is a medieval watchtower and fortification located between Sant Boi de Llobregat and Sant Climent de Llobregat on the Mediterranean coast. Built of distinctive red stone that inspired its name, the structure features a square central tower standing four floors high with a Gothic trifoliated window on the first floor and topped by battlements with machicolations. Dating from the 13th to 16th centuries, it originally served the Burgesa estate granted civil and criminal jurisdiction by King Jaume I in 1265. The tower functioned as both a watchtower and defense structure protecting the coastal region. Today it houses administrative offices for the territorial planning and development district of Viladecans.
