Pazo de Vilacoba is a historic Galician noble mansion located in the parish of Restande in Trazo, within the Ordes region of Galicia. Originally constructed as a defensive tower in the sixteenth century, the structure was significantly rebuilt during the seventeenth century, reflecting the transition from fortified stronghold to refined country estate. The façade displays a noble coat of arms and features a particularly beautiful balcony as a distinctive architectural element. The compound includes traditional Galician outbuildings such as a granary and dovecote, enclosed by a stone perimeter wall. The residence remains inhabited, representing the evolution of Galician aristocratic architecture from military functionality to elegant domestic refinement.
