Castell de Súria is a 10th-century castle located in the municipality of Súria in Bages, declared a cultural property of national interest, and situated at the highest point of a hill overlooking the Cardener River. Built by Guifré and structured by his grandson Borrell II, the castle served as a key control point on the Old Road between the fortresses of Cardona and Manresa, managing passage along the east bank of the Cardener. Today, only a rectangular tower of approximately twelve meters in height remains, dating to the 12th century, and the castle now functions as an Interpretation Centre of the Old Village, offering visitors insight into its medieval significance and architectural heritage.
