Castell de Guanta, dating from 1012, stands on the hill of the Corb in Sentmenat, embodying nearly a millennium of Catalan medieval history. According to local legend, the fortress once served as a refuge for Count Borrell, though today only fragmentary walls remain as archaeological evidence of its former military significance. The site includes the Castellet de Guanta, a residential house constructed atop the rocky hill using salvaged stones from the original fortress. Today, the location functions as a restaurant offering Spanish barbecue cuisine, allowing visitors to experience the site's historic setting while enjoying traditional Catalan hospitality and regional gastronomy.
