Far de la Torre d'en Beu is an octagonal stone lighthouse and former watchtower located at Cala Figuera in Santanyí, Mallorca, standing 35 meters above sea level on dramatic rocky cliffs. Built in 1953 by architect Rafael Soler following fishermen's requests for a navigation beacon, the 12-meter-tall tower features a striking black and white striped facade and a seven-meter diameter structure. Historically, the original Torre d'en Beu served as a coastal defense tower, emitting smoke signals by day and fire signals by night to warn residents of approaching vessels that could pose threats. Today the lighthouse remains an important maritime navigation aid while serving as a scenic landmark guarding the entrance to the charming fishing village of Cala Figuera.
