Castell de Santa Magdalena de Polpís is a well-preserved medieval fortress with Moorish origins located in the Irta Mountains of Castelló Province. Originally built as a Muslim castle, it was conquered in 1233 by Jaume I's forces following the capitulation of Peñíscola. The imposing structure showcases notable architectural elements including walls, a prominent main tower, and an inner chapel with crypt.
