The Castillo de San Martín de Valvení is a 15th-century fortress in Valladolid that belonged to the distinguished Zúñiga family, lords of the town during that period. The castle subsequently passed through the hands of several noble families including the Alburquerque, Guzmanes, Portocarrero, and Camarasa families, reflecting its significance to regional nobility. Though now in ruins, visitors can still observe the remains of this Zúñiga castle, which retains enough architectural features to convey its medieval defensive character. Designated as a Cultural Heritage Monument, the ruins remain freely accessible, offering insight into 15th-century Castilian noble architecture and providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
