Castillo de la Coracera is a 15th-century fortress in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, Madrid, originally commissioned by Álvaro de Luna as a royal residence and hunting lodge. The castle served as a royal residence for Isabella the Catholic when she was proclaimed heir to Castile, and features elements referencing earlier 12th-13th century construction. Well-preserved through 20th-century restoration efforts, the fortress now hosts exhibitions, conferences, and concerts under the management of the Castillo de la Coracera Foundation established in 2003.
