Castillo de Rello stands in the Almazán region of Soria province and represents the best-preserved walled complex in its region. The fortress features a 15th-century core built upon an earlier mound, with walls and architecture modified in the 16th century. The complete fortification encompasses 667 linear meters of walls with crenellated crowning, two access gates, a keep tower with partial remains, and a water tower strategically positioned near the river for siege survival. Designated a Cultural Interest Asset, the castle's keep remains in poor condition due to lightning damage, yet the overall complex provides valuable insight into late medieval Spanish military architecture and defensive strategies.
