Castillo de Quintana del Marco, built in the 15th century by Diego Fernández de Quiñones, count of Luna, survives today as its impressive tower of homage—a square-plan keep standing 12 meters high. The tower features an internal tower structure at its upper level, with the original entrance door positioned at mid-height and decorated with a twin-windowed opening featuring a mullion and arrow slits. Constructed of masonry with careful architectural detailing, the well-preserved tower stands surrounded by modern dwellings while the castle's remaining structures lie in ruin. Currently owned privately and used as a residence, this León fortress represents the residential-defensive architecture of Castilian nobility during the late medieval period.
