Castell de la Guàrdia Pilosa stands on a rounded hill west of the settlement of the same name in Pujalt, Anoia, representing medieval Catalonian fortification heritage. Documented from 1039, the castle likely originated in the early 11th century as a circular tower and underwent significant expansion in the late 12th and early 13th centuries, evolving into a rectangular tower structure with walls and staircases. The site changed ownership multiple times, passing from the Cervera family to the Calders family and eventually to nobility, before ultimately becoming abandoned; today the settlement's focal point is the Church of Sant Jaume surrounded by carefully restored stone houses with arched portals.
