Torre del Pontón, sometimes called Torre de Linares, is a 14th-century medieval tower in Peñarrubia, Cantabria. Built with ashlar sandstone masonry and ivy-covered walls, this structure features a square floor plan measuring nine meters per side and standing 14 meters tall across four floors. Originally constructed to control passage through the valley, it was inhabited until the 18th century and served as part of a network of towers demonstrating the power of the Lords of Linares. Declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1992, it retains well-preserved battlements and a distinctive pointed arch entrance.
