Torre de Guadacabrilla is a 15th-century watchtower located in Posadas, Córdoba province, built during the reign of Enrique III to fortify the Royal Road connecting Córdoba and Seville. Featuring a square floor plan topped with crenellations and pyramidal terminations, this defensive structure originally served to protect commerce and travel along the Guadalquivir River's right bank. The tower was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1985 and remains in good condition, standing as a testament to medieval military architecture and the region's important trade routes. Today it represents an important link in the defensive line that once guarded this strategic corridor in Andalusian history.
