Castell de Marcovau is a medieval fortress located in the municipality of Foradada in the Noguera region of Lleida, Spain, with origins dating back to 1068. The castle remains as scattered ruins on a hillock, featuring fragments of fortified walls constructed from rough sandstone bonded with lime mortar, along with remnants of corner watchtowers. Though historically significant as a feudal stronghold, the structure is in poor condition today, accessible primarily for external observation rather than interior exploration. The site offers insight into 11th-century Catalan military architecture and settlement patterns.
