Castillo de Jimena de la Frontera is a 15th-century Nasrid castle perched atop the highest point of Jimena de la Frontera in Cádiz, Andalusia. Originally constructed by the Arab Nasrid dynasty and later reconquered by Castilian king Enrique IV, this fortress was built upon the remains of the Roman city of Obba. Declared a National Monument in 1931, the castle remains the defining architectural landmark of the municipality, commanding panoramic views extending to the sea on clear days.
