Palacio de los Luna in Illueca, Zaragoza, is a remarkable 15th-century palace renowned for its sophisticated Mudejar architecture featuring intricate brickwork and decorative masonry. Originally constructed as a fortress, it evolved into a grand residential palace through construction phases spanning the 14th-17th centuries, displaying an enormous three-story rectangular structure in brick and masonry. The palace holds historical significance as the birthplace of Pedro Martínez de Luna, later Pope Benedict XIII. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and declared a Cultural Interest by the Aragon Government in 2003, the restored palace now houses regional headquarters, a guesthouse, and an interpretation center dedicated to Pope Luna.
