Castillo de Riba de Santiuste is a medieval fortress in Guadalajara, Spain, originally built in the 9th century during the Andalusian period on a rocky outcrop dominating the Salado River valley. With an elongated form spanning nearly 100 meters in length, the castle was strategically designed to control the Sierra de Pela region and underwent significant expansion and reconstruction in the 12th century by the bishopric of Sigüenza. Though damaged during the Peninsular War of 1811, the fortress was privately restored after 1973 and declared a Cultural Heritage Site in 1992. Today, visitors can walk around portions of its perimeter and access the entrance, offering views of the dramatic landscape and medieval construction.
