Torre-castillo de los Señores in Godojos, Zaragoza, represents Gothic military architecture built upon ancient Islamic foundations. Dating to 1278 when King Pedro III commissioned its construction, the fortress came under lordship of the Heredia family by century's end. In the 15th century, it was enhanced as a noble tower for the Fernández de Heredia family. The surviving rectangular keep, built with precisely worked ashlar stone approximately eleven meters by seven meters, showcases the craftsmanship of medieval defensive construction. Now designated as a Heritage Site of Cultural Interest, the tower stands as an important remnant of Aragonese feudal power structures.
