Castle of Galve de Sorbe, also known as Zúñiga Castle, is a 15th-century fortress rising dramatically on a hilltop northwest of the town in Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha. Built by the House of Zúñiga atop earlier medieval foundations, the castle originated as a frontier defense between the Caliphate of Córdoba and the Kingdom of Castile before its Christian reconstruction. The imposing structure features a notable keep and richly detailed architecture, with five interior floors showcasing a large fireplace on the third level and a masonry dome on the fourth. Constructed of ashlar stone, it commands extensive views over the Sorbe valley and Sierra de Pela mountain range, though access to the interior is restricted to external viewing only.
