Castillo de Constantina is an Almoravid-style fortress in Constantina, Seville province, whose origins trace back to the Moorish period when it defended the critical north-south road to Seville. Featuring a distinctive polygonal enclosure with barbican defenses, the castle's strategic location shaped the town's development through medieval times and into the modern era. Following the Tower of Homage's collapse in 2010, extensive reconstruction efforts led to its official reopening in 2014. Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1985, the castle has been central to Constantina's identity, witnessing centuries of noble conflicts and serving as a fortified position during the Napoleonic invasion.
