Palacio de los Pizarro is a 16th-century fortress-palace built by Hernando Pizarro and Francisca Pizarro Yupanqui, siblings of the famous conquistador Francisco Pizarro. Located in Conquista de la Sierra in Cáceres province, Extremadura, this three-story stone structure features a barrel-vaulted basement and square tower with spiral staircase and ornate hemispherical vault crowned with nine crenellations. Though largely in ruins with its roof destroyed by a 16th-century fire, the palace retains its architectural integrity and stands as a remarkable testament to the conquistador family's influence in Spain.
