Castell de Cervelló is a medieval fortress dating to the 9th century, first documented in 904 and likely reformed in the 13th century before its destruction during the 18th century War of Spanish Succession. Located at 317 meters elevation on a narrow rocky outcrop overlooking the Llobregat valley, the castle features two enclosures with natural cliff defenses on three sides. The structure's strategic position on the old Ordal trade route made it a significant medieval stronghold, though today it remains mostly in ruins with scattered stone remains preserved among the surrounding landscape.
