The Castillo de Casarrubios del Monte exemplifies Gothic Mudéjar military architecture within the urban area of Casarrubios del Monte in Toledo province. Built in the 14th or 15th century, with construction possibly continuing until 1527, this fortress features a rectangular floor plan anchored by large hexagonal towers at three corners and a crenellated keep tower at the fourth. Originally constructed through royal patronage and disputed inheritance disputes, the castle served as a symbol of feudal power and strategic control in central Castilla-La Mancha, now protected as a Site of Cultural Interest.
