Cerco de Artajona is an 11th-century walled enclosure in Navarra protecting the medieval town of Artajona with a complex of defensive walls, towers, and gates. Originally featuring fourteen crenellated towers, of which nine remain, this fortification represents one of medieval Navarre's most important surviving defenses, encircling the fortified church of San Saturnino along with robust walls, buttresses, and a watchtower. Visitors can enter through two preserved historic gates—San Miguel and Remahua—experiencing medieval architecture firsthand while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding Navarrese landscape from strategic lookout points.
