Château de Rogé in Villeneuve-sur-Lot is a 15th-century brick stronghouse overlooking the Lot river, enlarged during the 16th and 17th centuries. Originally a seigneurial residence that likely served as a toll station on the medieval river, it features tall windows opening toward the water. Early 19th-century transformations by Joseph de Bourran included closing the east terrace, constructing a bridge over the moat, and reorganizing the northeast defensive tower. The commune acquired the property in 1962.
