Château Sentout is a 16th-century castle in Tabanac, Gironde, modified through the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries to reflect evolving architectural tastes. The property's documented history extends to at least 1650, when it belonged to Jean de Sentout, and later came under ownership of Eugène Fichot, a hydrographical engineer to the French navy and member of the French Academy of Sciences. The château produced wine until its final harvest in 1972, after which it was converted into holiday rental accommodations and event spaces. Positioned on a hillside facing the Garonne valley, it now hosts groups of up to 44 people for weddings, anniversaries, professional seminars, and vacations.
