Château de la Borie is a 17th-century manor set within 14 hectares of picturesque grounds near Limoges in Haute-Vienne. The château and its outbuildings form a rectangular complex preceded by two vast courtyards and feature a chapel among its original structures. Since 2017, the estate has housed a contemporary art gallery, complemented by redesigned gardens following the 'moving garden' concept by landscape designer Gilles Clément. In 2025, the new owners established La Borie Art Residency to foster artistic creation on the property. The combination of historic architecture, modern artistic programming, and carefully curated landscapes makes this an evolving cultural destination.
