Château d'Aunoy is a 18th-century noble country house located in Champeaux, Seine-et-Marne, approximately 13 kilometers northeast of Melun. Built in the mid-1700s following a fire in 1750 that destroyed the original medieval structure, the château was constructed by owner Jean-Baptiste Chabert using distinctive brick ceiling and attic construction techniques instead of traditional wooden frameworks. The property features notable English-style gardens created by Jean-Baptiste Gerbier, representing among the earliest French gardens of this type. The château's park contains a remarkable hybrid plane tree approximately 200 years old and 30 meters tall, classified as a notable tree of Seine-et-Marne.
