Château d'Agassac is a historic 11th-century winery estate in Ludon-Médoc, approximately 15 minutes from Bordeaux, with Latin inscriptions in its underground chambers confirming early medieval construction. Spanning 27 hectares, its vineyards showcase an ideal terroir composition of sand and gravel devoid of clay, planted with 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. Under winemaker Pierre Cazeneuve's direction, the château produces elegant Grand Vin wines distinguished by refined tannins and balanced body, aged for 12 months in barrels with one-third new oak.
