The Château des Vives-Eaux is an elegant neo-classical residence situated on the banks of the Seine in Dammarie-les-Lys, near the Fontainebleau forest. Built between the late 18th and early 19th centuries by architect Jacques Gondouin, this refined example of 18th-century architecture features stone and brick facades, mansard roofs, and is set within an 18-hectare landscaped park. The estate gained wider recognition in the early 2000s as the filming location for the TF1 television program Star Academy, attracting national attention. Recently renovated to accommodate corporate receptions and seminars, the château successfully balances its historical significance with contemporary uses while maintaining its distinctive architectural character and expansive grounds.
