Château Chanorier, also known as Château de Croissy, is an 18th-century castle located in Croissy-sur-Seine, Yvelines, built between 1750 and 1770 for Georges Gougenot de Croissy. Named after Jean Chanorier, a general tax receiver and the last lord of Croissy who acquired the property in 1779, the château was registered as a historical monument in 1975. Owned by the commune of Croissy-sur-Seine since the late 1930s, the castle has evolved into a comprehensive cultural facility housing exhibitions, a restaurant, and performance spaces including a romantic salon with pianos and a music studio. An adjacent modern annex constructed in 2015 contains the municipal library, archives, music school, and a 300-seat auditorium, while outbuildings feature artistic associations, a Micro-Folie museum, and exhibitions dedicated to local history and Impressionist art.
