The Château d'Asnières is an 18th-century stately home constructed between 1750 and 1752 in the Parisian suburb of Asnières-sur-Seine, designed by architect Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne. Built for Marquis Marc-René de Voyer d'Argenson, then Director General of the Kingdom's stud farms, the château exemplifies refined classical architecture of the period. The estate originally featured extensive stables capable of housing 120 horses as the central depot for the Asnières stud, establishing it as one of the finest estates near Paris. Surrounded by gardens extending toward the Seine, the château was acquired and meticulously restored by the town beginning in 1992. Listed as a historic monument since 1996, its restoration was completed in 2014, and it now opens to the public for guided tours and cultural events.
