Château de l'Ebaupinay is a 15th-century feudal fortress in Argentonnay, Deux-Sèvres, featuring late Gothic architecture with five towers—one at each corner and one at the façade center—surrounded by original moats. Classified as a historic monument in 1898, the castle was saved through crowdfunding after centuries of abandonment. Since 2018, new ownership has initiated restoration using period techniques and opened the site to animated tours and events, with plans to develop a medieval village in the surrounding grounds, bringing this Late Medieval treasure back to life.
