Sillapää loss is a remarkable neoclassical manor house from southeastern Estonia's first half of the 19th century, likely built between 1835 and 1840. The majestic column portico exemplifies classical architecture of the region, with major reconstructions undertaken in 1936. The estate is protected as an outstanding architectural ensemble and currently houses the Räpina local history and gardening museum and the Räpina Music School. The accompanying manor park ranks among Estonia's finest historical gardens, designed in the 1880s by architect Walter Moritz Aleksander von Engelhardt and featuring over 300 species of mature trees and shrubs in a carefully maintained landscape.
