Ulstrup Castle is a historic Renaissance manor house positioned along the Gudenå River in western Denmark, approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Randers. Founded in the late 14th century and expanded into a four-winged Renaissance fortress during the early 17th century by noble families including the Skeel lineage, the estate encompasses approximately 650 hectares of predominantly forested land. Today a cultural foundation dedicated to preservation, Ulstrup welcomes visitors during annual events and concerts. The grounds offer recreational fishing along the river, horseback riding through the estates, self-foraging opportunities, and hunting.
