Marselisborg Palace, a royal residence overlooking Als Fjord in southern Aarhus, stands as Denmark's beloved gift to King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine upon their marriage in 1902. Designed by royal building inspector Hack Kampmann, the castle features elegant architecture with impressive entrance towers that echo the design of Aarhus's historic Customs House.
