The Castle of Ravadinovo, poetically known as "In Love with the Wind," is a modern fairytale castle located near the village of Ravadinovo, a few kilometres from Sozopol on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast. Construction began in 1996, creating a unique architectural blend of Gothic, Bulgarian, and Antoni Gaudí influences using 20,000 tons of metamorphosed limestone containing micro-diamonds that change colour depending on the light. The expansive grounds encompass a chapel, winery, lakes with waterfowl, themed gardens with fountains and sculptures, a small zoo, art gallery, and activities including horse riding, treasure hunts, and wine tasting. With affordable entrance fees around 4 euros, the castle attracts visitors seeking both romantic atmosphere and fantastical Balkan adventure.
