The castle stands surrounded by a public English landscape garden featuring ponds, cascades, and exotic trees, with an imitation river bend created around 1852 that mirrors the castle's reflection. Designated as a heritage monument landscape since 1982, the estate has been open to the public since 1971. The castle now operates as a restaurant and tavern, offering gastronomic dining and event hosting in a uniquely atmospheric historic setting.
