CASTLES ZOERSEL

Hallehof en kasteelpark in Zoersel is a historic 25-hectare castle estate featuring a striking Neo-Gothic castle built in 1902–1903 by Victor de Borrekens. The beautifully landscaped park encompasses walking trails, formal gardens, and serene water features centered around an ancient pond. The castle and associated outbuildings—including an orangery and forester's cottage—serve as a versatile venue for weddings, conferences, exhibitions, and private events. Once serving as the municipal town hall from 1982 to 2008, the estate now welcomes visitors to explore its architectural charm and naturalistic grounds managed for both public enjoyment and cultural programming.

Het Zoerselhof is a historic 18th-century estate in Zoersel, Belgium, built by Bonifatius de Wolf, a provisor of Sint-Bernards Abbey. The property served as both a residence and administrative management center where friars oversaw the abbey's extensive landholdings, reflecting the considerable wealth and influence of the monastery during that period. The estate exemplifies 18th-century institutional architecture and demonstrates the substantial power wielded by the religious community before the French Revolution. Following the Revolution, the property changed hands multiple times through various owners, including the Claes and Segers families.
