Château d'Oultremont at Warnant-Dreye in Villers-le-Bouillet represents one of Wallonia's rarest continuities of ownership, remaining within the same family since its 13th-century establishment across nearly eight centuries. The fortified estate evolved from a 15th-century stronghold into an impressive domain comprising the castle with its signature twin circular towers flanking the entrance, associated farm buildings, and a chapel constructed in 1649. The castle's chapel houses the mausoleum of Charles-Nicolas d'Oultremont, Prince-Bishop of Liège from 1763 to 1771, featuring sculptural work by Guillaume Évrard originally created for the Cathedral of Saint-Lambert.
